Project Consultant Vacancy

As a result of our ongoing growth we are seeking to recruit a talented and capable Project Consultant who will make key ongoing contributions to our work.

The role of Project Consultant encompasses many of our activities. Core responsibilities include:

Carrying out investigative research on individuals and companies on a worldwide basis

Analyzing research findings

Compiling and writing high quality client reports

In addition the Project Consultant will be involved in, or have sole responsibility for, other
projects. These may include but are not limited to the following:

Editing and writing a regular client newsletter

Authoring material for inclusion on one of our websites (www.proximalconsulting.com and www.dirtydealing.net)

Proof reading content generated by other team members

Authoring and presenting staff training material

Attending client meetings

Marketing projects

Assisting Peter Lilley in major investigations projects and/or writing topics

Research and development to improve the firm’s overall performance and/or investigate a specific area of our operations

Preparation of client/conference presentations

Preparation of training material for external clients

You will need a high degree of accuracy, an inquisitive mind and the ability to collate, analyze and summarize your findings. You should have a passion for writing and presenting ideas whilst being committed to producing high quality written work. Ideally applicants will have attained a degree where the skills required for the analysis and précising of documents have been finely developed. Knowledge of foreign languages would be an advantage but not essential. You will enjoy dealing with complex issues and have a keen interest in current affairs and business topics. You will also be discreet and appreciate the confidential nature of the work that we deal with. Applicants need to have a down to earth attitude, and be happy to work both on their own and as a team player. Whilst having ownership of your own work you will also be a member of a team of project consultants.

This role provides an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, literate and enthusiastic applicant with an inquiring mind to become part of a team of nine people working in an informal and non-hierarchical environment.

The salary for this position is circa £18k (subject to experience) plus annual bonus based on the jobholder’s performance and that of the firm as a whole.
